Speaking and Workshops
I conduct workshops and presentations to organizations about managing mental health issues in various settings, such as the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and the Upright Citizens Brigade Training Center in New York City. I also conduct workshops for high school seniors and their parents on the transition to college and mental health concerns. I have collaborated with various independent schools in the NYC area such as Friends Seminary, Packer Collegiate and Horace Mann School.
Let's Talk...
School Talks
I present workshops specifically for high school students, usually in the Spring of their Senior year, about leaving home, saying good-bye and how to assess and maintain good mental health in their first semester at college. I also provide workshops for the parents of high school seniors about what to expect after graduation and how to support their children as they transition into their first semester of college.
Mental Health Presentations
I am available to a variety of organizations to present on how to assess, address and maintain mental health. My style is conversational, and I provide practical, real-life strategies for audiences that are both new to therapy as well as those well-informed about mental health.
Affiliations
I am affiliated with a variety of organizations, including the National Association of Social Workers, as well as Creatives Care, a non-profit mental health organization for artists. I am also verified by Psychology Today and Thriving Campus.
